Many consider Leonardo da Vinci the most celebrated artist of all time. But what would have happened if he had placed his genius at the service of the inventions of our own era?
From this question comes the project What If Leonardo da Vinci: an illustrated compendium in which the unmistakable style of the master from Vinci merges with the icons of modernity, reinterpreted as if they had been conceived by his very own genius.
From Art to Object: A Story Taking Shape
Conceived by Max Monteduro—a designer and creative known for launching the editorial project PK – Paperinik New Adventures and the character Double Duck—What If Leonardo da Vinci celebrates beauty and creativity through a series of illustrations created by Max in a Leonardesque style. These are accompanied by original texts written in Renaissance Italian and readable in mirror writing, depicting inventions that have transformed our everyday lives.
At Modulstudio, we chose to enhance these works by transforming them into what we do best: unique and distinctive objects capable of evoking emotion and telling stories.
